Facelift Procedure — Bellevue Rhytidectomy
If you’ve already scheduled an appointment for our Seattle facelift procedure with board-certified plastic surgeon in Seattle, Dr. James Ridgway and are now looking to learn a bit more about the procedure, this blog post should be perfect for you.
On the day of your facelift procedure, also known as a rhytidectomy, you will enter our state-of-the-art surgical suite located at Bellevue office. From there, Dr. Ridgway and his anesthesiologist will place you under general anesthesia. You will not be conscious, and so you will feel nothing from the surgical procedure. Incisions are made around the ears and above the forehead to tighten the skin and underlying muscles.
The whole process should take roughly five hours, depending on the various techniques and the scope of the surgery.
For more information about the facelift procedure, feel free to contact our office or visit our Seattle facelift surgery page.
